Oh Happy Sabbath Day!   We all were up and out on time to enjoy another lovely breakfast together.   Cari our driver from Finland had the bus ready and waiting to take us to the east side Munich SDA church.   You will see from the pictures how lovely it is.   Lots of windows and beautiful golden wood.  We had a little Sabbath school room to unload in and spend a few minutes until church time.

The chorale and Abellimenti gave stellar performances with great appreciation from the congregation.   pictures to follow.

We were treated to a wonderful potluck with rice and beans, carrots, cabbage rolls, and chicken for those who desired.   At least 20 different kinds of dessert topped off the meal.   The best part was sitting with the church members and getting to know them.

Our church leader (tall in a blue shirt - I forgot his name) led the group on a walking tour to historic Munich.  A 400 step climb up the cathedral's tower offered a great city view.

We then drove to Bogenhofen - our SDA seminary and elementary/academy in Austria - within a 1/4 from the German border.   It is a lovely campus with beautiful trees, a stream running through a lovely pond.   With older style buildings there were new modern ones with a gorgeous open church.  Mr. Purvis was able to use the format and have the chorale sing first from the balcony, then surrounding the audience.  Beautiful sound!   Another great performance was given the inclusion of a german song that the group was complemented on singing without accent!  A big complement indeed

Supper was in there cafeteria with spaghetti, rice, salads and an Austria specialty something like a huge Dim Sum filled with plum jam that you sprinkled nuts and poppy seeds with sugar on and drizziling with butter.  Very unique indeed and quite delicious!

By this time the promised rain had begun as we drove to our hotel in Lintz  - which is on our way to Vienna.   Pray for clear skys tomorrow!

Everyone is safe and sound.  a few have sore throats, a few fevers but overall doing great!   Good night and enjoy the pictures!
