I have to add an addendum to our Sabbath post.   Ben was pretty weak Friday night and several girls were sick.  I myself was not in tiptop shape.  So we had planned to return to the hotel after the church program.   But everyone was feeling better after church we all decided to stay and tour.  I had not brought comfy shoes to walk in although my high heals are crocs.   The roads in Rome are made with rock and uneven surfaces.  My darling husband stole my shoes and gave me his comfy shoes and wore mine.   The shock on Suzy and Kaeli's faces are evidence of their reaction.  Most kids never noticed .   Too me it was a gift of love
We are home safe and sound - I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday - we were a little tired :)   AS luck would have it daylight savings time ended our last night and so sleep was shortened but everyone was up and going and we had all our luggage onto the bus on time.   The airport went smoothly in Rome until we all settled in and they shut the doors and the pilot announced they didn't have a slot to take off for another hour!

Imagine that our connection time in London was a little over one hour - we knew it would be difficult.   The airlines was prepared to escort us through everything they could - and they held our connecting flight for more than an hour.   We all made it!   but but but  - none of the luggage did :)

Nonetheless we were thrilled to get our tired selves home and we will trust the luggage situation will resolve itself out.  I have a few pictures I will add later on today.   It was a monumental trip and will live in the memories of all of us
